Janina, born in 1990 in Berlin with German-Kurdish roots, is the founder of STEUERMIEZE® – a brand that proves the world of tax can be different: creative, human and with a touch of humor.

 

How It All Began...

Her professional journey began in the beauty industry. After completing her training as a beautician, she gained valuable experience working for L’Oréal at KaDeWe – one of Europe’s most renowned luxury department stores. There, she served an international and discerning clientele. This experience shaped her high standards for service and quality with a strong focus on customer car, attention to detail and responsibility.

A personal turning point eventually led her down a completely path – into the world of numbers and tax regulations. Lokking for more purpose, flexibility, and opportunities for growth, she decided to start a new career in her late twenties. Today, Janina is a Tax Specialist, a certified specialist in digitalization and IT processes, and responsible for HR.

 

What Drives Her...

She believes that meaningful work is about much more than just professional expertise. Creativity, empathy, and supporting the next generation are inseparable parts of who she it. Helping young people grow into confident professionals has become a true passion. Anyone who has experienced mentors who encourage, inspire and recognize potential knows just how valuable that support can be.

Her goal is to create an environment where people can grow. She places great importance on self-worth, self-leadership, and strong team relationships. One of her core values is the ability to look at situations from different perspectives. Understanding people, tasks and challengers from multiple angles not only leads to better decisions but also strengthens teamwork and mutual respect.
